The tricky cases, handled
Four situations where a basic Stripe alert can go wrong, and what these templates do in each.

Resend → no new row
Repeated events don’t double up
Stripe can send the same event more than once. The workflow looks up the Stripe Session ID before writing, so a repeated delivery adds no second row and no second alert. Premium also checks refund and dispute IDs. Only two identical events in the same second can still both be written.

Currencies with zero or three decimals
Stripe sends amounts in the currency’s smallest unit, and not every currency uses two decimals. Two-, zero- and three-decimal currencies are converted correctly, so a yen payment isn’t divided by 100.

SEPA → logged when paid
Payments that confirm later
With methods like SEPA Direct Debit, the payment is confirmed some time after checkout. The sale is logged once Stripe reports it as paid, not when the checkout closes.

invalid payload → alert
Errors reach your Telegram
If a payload can’t be processed, you get a Telegram error message instead of silence. Premium also alerts you when a workflow run fails, retries failed Telegram sends and marks unsent messages in the sheet.

* The Approve / Reject buttons only record your review in the Ledger. They don’t move money and they don’t call Stripe. A refund message arrives after the refund was made in Stripe, and you answer disputes in Stripe.

Self-hosted n8n or n8n Cloud?
The templates are tested on self-hosted n8n, running in Docker behind HTTPS. They haven’t been tested on n8n Cloud.
What do I need?
An n8n instance that Stripe can reach over HTTPS, a Stripe account and a Telegram bot. Standard and Premium also need a Google account for Google Sheets.
If you self-host n8n, Stripe reaches it through a domain with HTTPS or a tunnel service. You should also be comfortable importing a workflow and adding credentials in n8n. Each product page lists exactly what it needs.
Does it work with subscriptions?
No. The templates cover one-time payments made through Stripe Checkout or a Payment Link. Subscription renewals and invoices aren’t announced or logged.
Can I use it for client projects?
Yes. You can set up the workflow for a client and run it for them. What you can’t do is resell or share the template file itself. The details are in the License Terms.
Can I get a refund?
You can request a refund within 7 days of purchase. The details are on the Refund Policy page.
How do I get support?
By email: owl.production@proton.me. If something fails, include a screenshot of the n8n execution error and the Stripe event ID (evt_…). Please don’t send passwords, API keys or bot tokens.
Where do I pay?
On Gumroad. Gumroad processes the payment as the merchant of record and works out any VAT or sales tax at checkout, depending on where you are. Prices are in USD.
